Another great family fun day is planned for Saturday 3rd December.
From 9.30am a bouncy castle and face painter in Creek Lane will please children, whilst various entertainers will perform. Santa will be available for photos at his Grotto at the RSA from 9.30am to 11.45am. Photography is courtesy of the Museum (gold coin donations) and photographs will be available to collect at the Museum. Families may take their own photos. The Santa Parade begins at midday, following the one way route from West Street to Swales yards in Mill Road.
Afternoon activities at the Museum include a bouncy castle, face painting, a balloon twister, entertainment, food and photos with Santa in a classic car. The Harcourts Santa Lolly Scramble is at 2pm.
Entries in the colouring competition, sponsored by Allsorts and organized by Helensville Lions, will be displayed in shop windows. The prizes for best floats in the parade are sponsored by Swales Earthmovers, Helensville District Health Trust, Helensville Paper Plus and UHY Haines Norton.
The children’s Bike, Trike, Scooter decorating competition, sponsored by Gumboots Early Learning Centre, will again be in the Library courtyard, with entrants able to join in the parade (with a parent) in front of Santa’s sleigh.
