As I write this, we’re all back in Level 4. With such a dynamic and ever-changing situation, it is a good idea to have all your ducks in row – ready to go. For many of us, this means accessing services and information in an online environment.
We know there are many out there for whom this is difficult. Your library and service centre team would like to help, as much as they can.
The Helensville Library and Service Centre is a Skinny Jump partner. Skinny Jump is for those who don’t have a broadband connection at home because cost is a barrier. You can find out more at:
steppingup.nz/programmes/get-jump/– or ask the team.
If you have an internet connection, and a library account, you have access to thousands of eBooks, eMagazines, and eAudiobooks – so your reading never needs to stop, even if you can’t make it into the library building. If you have any library queries, and you can’t ask in person, please use the options on Auckland Libraries’ website: aucklandlibraries.govt.nz/Pages/contact-us.aspx. Auckland Council’s myAUCKLAND online account is really helpful to manage your rates and payments, your dogs, report
maintenance problems, and more. You can find out more at: aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/Pages/myauckland.aspx.
If you need help with any of these services, please ask one of the team.
The Helensville library and service centre is open:
Monday to Friday: 9.30am to 5pm
Saturday: 9.30am to 4pm ( council services are available on Saturdays until 12 noon, currently).
The building will be open from 9.30am, too. Regular hall / meeting hirers will still have access before then, through the use of keys or swipe cards. If you need to arrange this, please contact Auckland Council Venue Hire:
Phone:09 379 2030
