Helensville Museum Special General Meeting

by Helen Martin
Members of the Helensville Museum and others interested in the future of our local taonga are warmly invited to a special general meeting to be held on Saturday 7 September at 1.30pm in the Museum Courthouse.
Incoming President Leigh Bosch will give an update on recent changes in the organisation, including the resignation of former President John Smith and others. There will be a full and frank discussion, with members invited to express any concerns and ask any questions they may have. A vote of confidence in the new committee will be sought.
The statement for the financial year 2018 – 2019 and the new Constitution, documents not available at the August AGM, will be presented for membership approval. There will also be a report on progress with the urgent pest eradication programme. To support this work donations can still be made to the givealittle page https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/help-save-helensville-museum
The committee are keen to involve the community in up-and-coming changes. Why not go to the meeting, meet the committee and see what they’re planning?
