Sunday 28th May (9.30am to 11.30am)
We’ve all seen Fungi growing either in the garden or when out walking but most of us generally pass by without giving them a second thought. In reality fungi are key players in many aspects of our lives and the environment.
In this 2hr workshop Matthew Priestley from Brotherwood Tree Care will be giving an introduction to the incredible kingdom of fungi.
Learn more about this fascinating subject and how you can harness the power of fungi in the garden or on the farm; including how to start growing your own gourmet mushrooms.
Autumn is a fantastic time to see many fungi producing mushrooms, so come along to this informative workshop followed by a walk around the Sculpture Gardens to see what fungi can be found.
Matthew holds several Arboriculture qualifications gained both in NZ and the UK and also has a BSc in Botany & Microbiology as well as having many years’ experience within this field.
