Dynamic new children’s programme 1-2pm Sundays at Helensville Community Church. Running alongside their Sunday service, which has moved to 1pm, with a light lunch served from 12.30, Helensville Community Church has started a programme called “Kidztime” 1 - 2pm.
The programme caters for children aged 3 - 12 years and includes a relaxed time of learning through Bible stories, age-appropriate activities, crafts, discussions, games and music. Children are able to enjoy the programme in their own designated children’s space and this will be run by a registered Primary School teacher – Andrea Frame who has also been running a similar programme at Riverhead Family Church for the past six years.
Come along and try it out, everyone very welcome. Held at Helensville Community Church (40 Mill Road) each Sunday.
Andrea also runs Alphabet Art - 10-12 Every Thursday during term time. Catering for preschoolers to have a fun-filled morning of music and dancing, story time, painting, crafts, play dough and plenty of toys to play with. Perfect for babies through to 5 year olds. Alphabet Art is a great way for children to learn and play, while mums and caregivers enjoy a cuppa and a chat in a relaxed setting.
Morning tea provided for both children and adults. Entry by gold coin donation.
Alphabet Art started in November 2024 and now has a core group of families enjoying the fun each week and everyone is welcome to come along and join us.
