New local JP available

When Covid forced Frank Bosch’s retirement he trained first to become a Helensville Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) volunteer then, seeing the constant demand there for Justice of the Peace services, he trained as a JP. After an 18-month training process he was the first person in Auckland to swear an oath to the new King.

Frank is eminently suited to the work, having spent a long career as a public servant, first with the IRD, where he worked in tax policy and administration, then as Director of the Child Support Agency, which he helped set up. For the past 20 years he worked with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) carrying out overseas missions in numerous countries.

He’s enjoying wearing two hats, JP work and volunteering at the CAB, along with the opportunity the positions give him to give back to the community.

The CAB, which is run from 16 Commercial Rd, is open from Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm. There is a JP on duty every day except Thursday.

To access a JP’s services, you can contact the CAB on 09 420 7162 or Frank Bosch on 022 314 9973.
