Due to changes at the Helensville Museum, there can be no after parade event this year.
It is too late to change anything around the parade this year, but with the parade designed to attract focus to the museum, the whole event will be reviewed for next year.
For those who might like a return to the parade doubling back through the town centre, please note that would mean a return to all parking being coned off from 7am, and resultant increased traffic management costs of more than $1,000.
