February is all go as we gear up for a great 2025.
We are hosting a fantastic Employer Services Expo on February 19th at the Country Club Huapai. At the expo we will have presenters from Ministry of Social Development, Here Toitu, Ember and Out West Youth who will showcase all the FREE employer services they have to offer. This is a small expo so registrations are essential. Make sure you head to our website and head to What’s On to register your seats. Did you know that in the North West as an employer you are entitled to:
- Free recruitment services
- Free driver license training for employees
- Free support to employees who are injured and need assistance to work and fall outside ACC
- Free advice and support
- Salary subsidies for employees, and much more.
The Annual Helensville Show will be held on Saturday 22nd February and this is one of the biggest shows ever. Stalls are sold out and the showgrounds will be packed with lots to do and see. Make sure you get down to the showgrounds and see what is on offer.
If you have been concerned about your digital safety, and looking for tips to make sure your team members don’t accidentally click on the wrong link, John King is hosting a free Digital Security Workshop on Wednesday 5th March. He will showcase how easy it is for hackers to impersonate your business when sending spam, protect against compromised accounts, check whether your emails have been ‘blacklisted’, and how to get easy reporting on your systems so you can see what is going on.
