Hospice West Auckland provides specialist palliative care, free of charge, to our West Auckland community. Our passionate professional healthcare workers are supported by our amazing team of volunteers, who generously gift their time in many different ways.
Hospice West Auckland is currently seeking Patient and Family Volunteers in the Helensville region. This could be companionship, providing a break for caregivers, writing life reviews, end-of-life care support, or driving, depending on your preferences. Full training and support is provided.
We are also looking for volunteers for the Helensville Hospice Op Shop at 36a Mill Road. This involves working one or more 4-hour shifts per week in this fun and busy store, sorting donations, merchandising stock, serving customers and generally assisting to help the store run smoothly.
