We know that some of you will be travelling out to Shelly Beach over the summer months so we are posting this update.
We met with the contractor and held a discussion on site the other week, Masons have produced Plans showing the extent of the work site over both January and February. See below.
All other areas of the beach outside those shown in the Plans will be open to the public, with fencing down.
Masons have advised the intent is to work on Groyne 2 during January, with a manned crossing point where materials are delivered across the boat ramp. However, they note if the boat ramp is too busy to manage the vehicle crossings safely they will work on Groyne 3 to avoid this.
