Local identity Clifford Wright was nominated by Te Awaroa Residents & Ratepayers association for a Rodney Local Board Volunteer Recognition Award.
The citation on the Award reads “Clifford has repeatedly led efforts to paint over graffiti in Helensville, particularly on the old KDC property at Helensville’s south town entrance. Cliff liaised with Council to be provided with paint and brushes, which he has more recently passed over to Police Blue Light youth.”
Clifford is a member and past committee member of TARRA, and his efforts for our town are noteworthy.
